Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares give you a direct connection to the local farm where your vegetables are grown and with the farmer who grows them. They also give you fresh, delicious, and healthy produce - all summer!
By buying shares of the future harvest while the ground is still cold, you allow us to purchase the seeds and equipment needed in the spring. Once the season begins, usually by Early June, we harvest fresh vegetables for you to enjoy each week.
Weekly veggie shares can be picked-up from our farm in Sechelt, on Thursdays from 3-5:30 pm.
how it works.
Shares are harvested weekly for 14 weeks starting in Mid-June. Each Thursday we select the best of the Bounty in the fields, pack it into a re-useable bin, and look forward to seeing the smile on your face when you receive your weekly harvest box! Each week the contents of the share changes based on what is in season.
Because we are also an awesome Flower Farm, it means that each week you have an option to include a beautiful bouquet of flowers as an add-on purchase with your order. You will be offered the best of what is blooming with bouquets priced at $25 or $30.

One of the most exciting things about growing our own food is that we can choose from thousands of varieties of vegetables most of which will never be found in a grocery store.
At Ruby’s Run Farm we grow everything from organic seed and choose delicious heirloom varieties whenever possible. Each week we try to provide a good balance between old standards and something new and interesting. The shares change with the season, however, we do our best to make sure each week has something for everyone. For the 2024 Season, your harvest basket share program starts in early June. However, it is possible that Mother Nature will bring us a warm and early spring. In the event that this happens you will be contacted to enquire if you would like to begin your share program early!

A few additional things we want you to know:
Sorry, but we are not able to offer refunds. Your funds have already been put to use in crop production, seeds have been planted and crops are growing!
There is always a level of uncertainty in farming. We will work hard to provide you with the highest quality of exceptional produce but in the rare circumstance beyond our control we have a crop failure, then we will refund CSA members for the weeks we can not provide.
In the event you are unable to pick up your bin, we ask that you have someone pick it up on your behalf or we can donate it to the community food bank.
During the season we offer you 1 credit where your bin can be put on hold. Please contact us by email 2 days ahead if you need to claim this credit.
