All workshop registration is on hold due to covid -19 restrictions.
 
WE ARE THRILLED to offer our 2020 Seasonal Series of Flower Workshops.
 
Have you ever wanted to express your inner creativity with FLOWERS? Come and join us for one of our seasonal workshops. We will guide you step-by-step to that place where you can confidently create your own unique show-stopper
 
All sessions include a tour of the farm so you can see firsthand what is blooming in the fields. We will demonstrate design and flower arranging techniques that are perfect for your home or small occasions. This will be sure to get those creative juices flowing so roll up your sleeves and dive in to making your own arrangements using only the freshest of the specialty cut flowers from the farm
 
Workshops are 3 hours long and include all flowers, supplies, and tools, as well as tea and snacks.
 
Growing tips and flower lore will be shared, as well as insights on how to keep your flowers fresher longer.
 
Spread the word. It’s a fun experience to share with family and friends.
 
Cost per session is $95, or get a discount when you buy 2 for a total $175.
All prices include %5 GST.

 
Please register online through our website and remember that each of our workshops has limited availability.
 
Regrettably we do not offer refunds unless we need to cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (catastrophic weather events etc).

SPRING SERIES

Demonstrations and hands on sessions using heirloom scented Narcissus, exotic Specialty Tulips, Italian anenomes, butterfly ranunculi, leucojum, Icelandic poppy, daphne odora, hyacinth, nigella, sweet peas and more! An opportunity to create a Sweet Posey, a luxurious hand-tied bouquet, a gorgeous vase arrangement, floral jewellery and hat adornments will be offered.

Create a lush table centerpiece and a floral adornment for your hat. Easter Sunday is Apr 12 so you may choose to theme your creations for the holiday

Wednesday, April 22 | 3-4 PM (Earth Day)

What better way to spend it than attending a flower workshop at Roberts Ck Community Hall, which will be held during the weekly Farmers Market This will be a 60 min workshop held from 3-4 pm and the cost is 25$ All proceeds go to the RCCA to support the community coupon program.
 

Have fun cruising the market for bargains and tasty treats and finish off your day with a fun flower arranging event. If inspiration moves you to do more you can buy extra farm fresh flowers at the Rubys Run Farm on-site market booth.

​Sunday, May 10 | 1-4 PM (Mothers Day)

Treat your darling Mom to a mid-day floral arranging workshop on the farm, where she will create gorgeous aromatic peony bouquets using romance flowers such as delphiniums, sweet peas, heirloom lilac, roses, and more!
 

Perhaps you will join Mom in creating memorable shared time together. Please contact us directly to request a Gift certificate.  You may want to register early - this one sells out fast!

​Sunday, May 31 | 2-5 PM

Using wild-harvested greenery and coastal wildflowers we will craft big huge scrumptious beautiful heart-shaped bouquets. You will have the opportunity to accent your arrangement with farm fresh flowers including peony, delphinium, sweet pea, anemone, queen-anne’s lace, tulip, narcissus, larkspur, calendula, foxglove, vibrant poppy, and more.

SUMMER + FALL SERIES

This is the time of year when the flower fields are lush and bountiful! We have an abundance of intoxicating scented floral ingredients to inspire you to create great big romantic bouquets!

The fields are bursting with sweet pea, lisianthus, breadseed poppy, lupin, china aster, sunflower larkspur, hydrangea, heavenly scented nicotiana, and much more! You will have an opportunity to create bridal bouquets and wedding adornments, market bouquets and sweet posey’s, gorgeous hand-tied wildflower arrangements, and dinnerplate dahlia creations!

Thursday, June 25 | 5-8 PM

Do you have a wedding in the future where you are dreaming of romantic farm-fresh florals to adorn your celebrated people and your tables? Come and join us to learn how to create a lush bridal bouquet and an enchanting table arrangement. We will use the best of the season with fresh field cuts of roses, lisianthus, peony, larkspur, lily, phlox, queen-anne’s lace, and the first romantic dahlia’s of the summer.

Sunday, July 19 | 11 - 1 PM

The farm is bursting with blooms in July and August!  Ever wonder how we make our luscious market bouquets?  This is the perfect time to learn how. In this workshop, you'll make a beautiful hand-tied bouquet or a vase arrangement with our bountiful summer flowers and foliage.

Sunday, August 6 | 11 - 1 PM

OMG! What about those dahlia’s! It’s all about “Abundance” on the farm with over 450 dahlia plants blooming in the fields. In the gardens the eye-candy is inspiring to say the least and the scent in the air is otherworldly!
 

We have Sunflowers!! There are still plenty of zinna’s, snaps, dahlia’s, cosmos, eucalyptus, rudbeckia, salvia, and more!

If you love dahlia’s this is the workshop for you! We will make a gorgeous hand tied bouquet or a vase arrangement using a plethora of the summer’s bounty.

We will hold one workshop in September offered to everyone,  as well as host our Annual Gratitude workshop for our Full Season Flower Share participants! Dates to be announced soon - stay tuned!

We will be hosting a workshop to create a Thanksgiving centerpiece using Autumn toned garden mums, maple leaves, sunflowers, rudbeckia, salvia, wild-harvested additions and more. Dates to be announced - stay tuned!
